Meet Rosemary
Board Certified Nurse Coach
Rosemary Oshinsky is a registered nurse and certified diabetes care and education specalist who enjoys helping individuals to be their healthiest and most fit. Her passion is for people to take care of themselves, to be aware of what healthy eating, activity and relaxation can do for their health and wellbeing.
Rosemary’s experience in diabetes education spans over 30 years in the hospital setting and as a member of a Recognized Program of the American Diabetes Association in the outpatient setting. She has 22 years of experience with insulin pump therapy and continues glucose monitors. She recently became a board certified nurse health and wellness coach. Rosemary has developed programs for gestational diabetes as well as diabetes education and support groups. She has spoken for many community organizations on all aspects of diabetes care and management.

Rosemary earned her BSN from American University in Washington, DC and her MSN from George Mason University in Fairfax, Va. She holds a certification as a Diabetes Educator, a certification from the Center of Disease Control as a lifestyle coach for the Diabetes Prevention Program and she is a board-certified health and wellness nurse coach.

Rosemary is an active member of the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists (ADCES). She has serviced on the board of the local Chapter of ADCES. In 2014 she was named “The Diabetes Educator of the Year” for the National Capital Chapter.
